Soft, more contrasted light with harder shadows comes from the silver interior of the light modifier. Soft, diffused light is provided by the two translucent diffusers, which are easy to attach to the softbox. The inner diffuser further reduces the creation of a brighter light area in the center of the image. The outer diffuser creates a larger light surface and spreads the light further. Both diffusers also minimize the occurrence of distracting reflections on shiny surfaces – a significant advantage in portrait and product photography.
