The KIOXIA CD8P-R series is a read-intensive NVMe SSD designed for data centers, optimized to support a wide range of scale-out and cloud applications, including big data, IoT, online transaction processing, and virtualization. Equipped with a PCIe 5.0 (32 GT/s x4) interface, the CD8P-R series SSDs deliver consistent performance of up to 2,000K IOPS (random read) and 200K IOPS (random write), achieving a 60% to 80% increase in sequential read speed compared to the previous generation of PCIe 4.0 SSDs (KIOXIA CD8-R series).

Featuring KIOXIA's 5th generation BiCS FLASH TLC flash memory, the CD8P-R SSDs in the 2.5-inch form factor offer an endurance of 1 DWPD (Drive Writes Per Day) and storage capacities of up to 30.72 TB, making them ideal for hyperscale data center applications.
