The RF-7 III cabinet is proudly crafted in the USA by skilled artisans in Hope, Arkansas, just as Paul W. Klipsch intended. The compression driver features a phase plug design that enhances phase coherence at the horn throat, thereby increasing sound pressure linearity at high frequencies.

The designed Tractrix horn has a round throat combined with a square horn opening to further improve high-frequency response and extension while enhancing imaging and dynamics. The compressed, molded rubber construction provides additional damping of high frequencies to reduce harshness and enhance detail, resulting in the purest, most natural sound possible.

The Cerametallic woofers represent the pinnacle of Klipsch's driver design, characterized by exceptional stiffness and lightweight construction to minimize diaphragm flex and reduce distortion. When combined with the horn-loaded Tractrix compression driver, it delivers the highest efficiency in its class.

Thanks to the Tractrix geometry, the RF-7 III ports allow for the most efficient airflow from the cabinet, providing the purest and most powerful deep bass response on the market.

The two-part cabinet design allows each 10-inch driver and port to operate independently, improving the linearity of both drive systems and minimizing issues with standing waves in the cabinet that can cause frequency anomalies in the sensitive midrange.

Each 10-inch woofer features a robust, cast aluminum frame for resonance-free operation. Additionally, each woofer has a dual shorting ring magnet structure that prevents modulation of the magnetic flux, thereby improving the linearity of diaphragm movement.
