Greater flexibility. The flexible ball joint can be fitted to virtually any microphone stand, allowing you to achieve a whole new range of positions. It features a 3/8" female thread and a 1/4" male thread. The integrated thread reducer also allows for further combinations. This means a wide variety of devices, such as microphones, handheld recorders and so on, can be used.
