The use of glass fibre as a conductor makes them extremely thin, which facilitates cable routing and also provides immunity to electromagnetic interference. With DSC (Display Stream Compression) technology, the resolution can be increased to a maximum of 10K. Due to its design, the optical HDMI cable only transmits the image in one direction.
