The following specification describes a custom x4 high profile PCIe add-in card that provides one rear customer-facing and one internal Thunderbolt 4 (TBT4) branded port. The x4 high profile PCIe add-in card utilizes the Maple Ridge controller to connect one rear and one internal TBT4 port, two mini display ports (to be used as inputs from graphics cards), and one mini display port for connection to an external monitor. The internal TBT4 port will be used for possible future TBT offerings through the use of a TBT bridge or hub.
