The LevelOne POI-2002 is a PoE injector (PSE) with an Ethernet input port (data only) and an output port (data and power), designed for small to medium networks. This injector converts the 100-240 V AC power supply into low voltage, allowing IEEE 802.3af compatible devices to be powered via Ethernet cabling. Additionally, the POI-2002 injector can check whether the network device is compliant with IEEE 802.3af or can only be powered with data. By adding a PoE splitter (POS-1002) to existing non-PoE networks, further network products such as access points and IP cameras can be easily deployed. This provides administrators with flexible installation options, as new devices do not need to be placed near a power outlet.
