The active Lindy DisplayPort to HDMI adapter cable enables the connection of a 4K@60Hz HDMI display or projector to a device with a DisplayPort output. This active cable converts single and dual-mode DisplayPort output signals, thereby increasing compatibility with most graphics cards.

Please note that audio output via HDMI is only supported if the graphics card of the laptop or PC supports audio output via DisplayPort. Some onboard graphics cards, such as those in the Mobile Intel 4 Series Express chipset in laptops, do not support audio output via DisplayPort—even if HDMI support for audio controllers has been installed. In such cases, a separate audio connection must be established.

Please be aware that some of the new Nvidia drivers may not work correctly with 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 when converting from DP/miniDP to HDMI. It may only achieve a resolution of 4K@60Hz 4:2:2.
