The Nintendo Switch OLED is technically slightly more powerful than its predecessor, but also costs significantly more money. However, it is the first choice for anyone who primarily uses the Switch in handheld mode. Those who only play via dock on the TV will be better off with the cheaper model.

In addition to the improved display, you benefit from some useful improvements such as the clear sound and the larger storage space. If you already own a Switch, you don't have to get a second one. After all, it's still basically the same console and not a completely new device...
The Switch OLED isn't quite the big hit - Nintendo hasn't incorporated enough innovations for that. The display is bigger and the picture is nice, the slight changes to the design and construction are nice. First and foremost, gamers who play in handheld mode will benefit from this...
