The mesh seen in many cases in front of the three here placed and already fully equipped fan mounting points would destroy the idea of a particularly quiet computer housing. But how do the designers manage
to let the fans "breathe"? Quite simply by integrating an almost continuous black perforated grid strip into the outer edges of the matt black, metallized plastic front. In this way, air can be sucked in without much noise penetrating outwards.
In the top, the same principle is trusted, with optional fans being provided as standard here. As above, there are three 120- or two 140-mm-slots available, which can also accommodate radiators instead of fans, namely up to 280-dual or even 360-triple heat exchangers (e. g. from the NZXT KRAKEN X60). A stunningly good water cooling preparation for a compact class housing.
If you want to leave it up to fans, you will also enjoy the large 140 mm model that NZXT has installed in the rear.
In addition, a PWM fan distributor has been integrated into the H440 V2, to which up to eight 3-pin fans can be connected - i. e., all fans installed in the housing can be controlled by the mainboard via the fan hub.
In addition to the fan hub, the housing features a pre-installed LED controller to control the lighting on the seven PCI slots and and the NZXT lettering.
