Notes: Charging lithium-ion batteries requires a special charger that charges the batteries according to a specific charging method (CCCV = constant current, constant voltage). The batteries must not be charged above a voltage of 4.2 volts, as this poses a risk of fire and explosion. It is advantageous to charge the batteries only up to about 4.1 volts, as this significantly increases their lifespan and number of charge cycles (potentially doubling it). Only lithium-ion chargers should be used for charging. However, cheap chargers often have the disadvantage that they do not safely turn off after the charging process ends, but continue to charge the batteries with a small current, which can be dangerous. Furthermore, batteries and accumulators should not be disposed of in household waste!.
