Product details
Empire of Sin, the strategy game from Romero Games and Paradox Interactive, puts you right in the middle of Chicago's wicked criminal underworld during Prohibition in the 1920s. Fight your way to the top with racketeering, charm, and intimidation, then do whatever it takes to stay there. This noir-style, character-based game throws players into the world of the golden 20s, complete with all the glitz and glamour that hides the underbelly of organized crime.
Create a criminal empire: Build your criminal empire from the ground up by choosing what businesses you want to pursue, whether it be speakeasies, casinos, or protection rackets, and assembling a retinue of loyal gangsters who will make their mark on the streets. Once you have made a name for yourself, you'll be able to expand your influence, take over rivals' territories, and broaden your repertoire with other ventures.
Defend and expand your territory: If (purely theoretically, of course) there should be disagreements and your gang needs to make a clear statement, you'll be able to carry out brutal turn-based battles. Be strategic when recruiting people and ensure your gang has good chemistry so that together you can do as much damage as possible in the fights and secure your influence in the city.
A living world: Discover 1920s Chicago and interact with a large selection of lively and realistic characters, each of whom brings their own biography and reacts individually to what you do (or don't do). Embrace, coerce, seduce, threaten, or kill them to get your way.
Influence wisely: Make and break alliances, bribe the police, and trade on the black market to improve your faction rating and increase your criminal family. But always keep your enemies closer than your friends, because it's always good to have a mole in the right place with eyes everywhere.
In addition to the game, the Day One Edition includes "The Good Son Pack.".
