Phobya's improved thermal pads with 7 W/mk are performance-wise on par with high-end thermal pastes. These "XT" thermal pads are excellently suited to compensate for height differences and irregularities on heatsinks and the components to be cooled. Their very good elastic pressure capability and low hardness allow for excellent adaptation to surfaces even with minimal pressure. They compensate for all large and small height differences, from microscopic grooves to visible irregularities. The surface of the pad is covered with a protective film that must be removed before use. These thermal pads can also be cut to the desired size. They are suitable for use with RAM coolers on graphics cards as well as for voltage regulators on motherboards. These thermal pads can even be used for large components such as the North or Southbridge, as they possess excellent thermal conductivity.
