Our memory team is happy to assist you in choosing the right RAM and configuring your server. The following technical considerations should be taken into account beforehand:

• Each CPU is assigned 12 DIMM slots.
• You can use RDIMM or LRDIMM memory. LRDIMM memory is recommended when large memory capacities are to be achieved.
• Registered DIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules should not be mixed. Therefore, when upgrading, you should know which memory is already present or upgrade completely to either RDIMM or LRDIMM memory.
• Memory slots without a processor present must not be populated.
• Higher memory frequencies may adjust to other memory clock rates in the system environment and will support correspondingly slower clock rates.
