The RPM 3 Carbon offers evolutionary advancements of the RPM concept: A resonance-optimized chassis accommodates an inverted platter bearing, whose ceramic ball reduces rumble. The freestanding motor unit with a 15V synchronous motor is powered by a precision generator with DC power supply. This ultra-pure power supply for the motor ensures outstanding smoothness.

The redesigned S-shaped 10" tonearm uses a material mix of carbon fibers, aluminum, and synthetic resin for the tonearm tube. Through a highly elaborate three-stage process involving heat treatments under 100 bar of high pressure, exceptional rigidity, maximum internal damping, and low resonance are achieved, making this tonearm suitable for MC cartridges as well.
