The docking station is compatible with the Acer Aspire Go 15 as it has a USB-C port that is suitable for connecting to the laptop. The docking station also offers HDMI connections that you can use for your screen.
Automatically generated from the .I have a Lenovo and acer laptop connected to mine, HDMI works wonderfully for the large external screen. As for Apple and peripherals, that's one of those things... you have to try. Have a look at the description (data/video). I don't connect my apple tablet to the screen, why should I? It's an A4 tablet and doesn't need an extra screen or keyboard.
No, this device did not work for me either I have on Lenovo ThinkPad Hybrid (USB C) and that works
There is no power cable included. It would also need a power supply unit. So you have to buy an additional one + a USB C cable to feed the docking station or a USB laptop charger directly. Note: the power supply must have enough power for the laptop. Mine with 45W was enough for Dell (as a slow charger) and it doesn't work for Lenovo.
The USB-C port from the laptop passes the video signal. i also have a second monitor on it. The HDMI of the laptop should also work. The Doking Station, on the other hand, does not pass on the video signal via its USB-C. So that doesn't work the other ports on the dock work as you would imagine. Greetings
Hello Ninjacoon, I have also been using the Acer 12in1 Type C dongle sr| HP.DSCAB.009 (USB C) with an HP notebook for a few weeks. The part does (for me) what it is supposed to do. I simply connected the laptop's USB C power supply to the Acer USB C 12in1 hub and then connected it to the laptop's USB C port (previously used for the power supply). You can't really do anything wrong. Maybe try it on another laptop and see if it works better there... Good luck!
