The unlocked version is the normal ryzen 5 2600 version. If you have a b450 motherboard, you can make the processor from 3.40GHz to for example 3.60GHz or more. This is how it works with all Ryzen processors, they are all "unlocked".

Yes it's compatible. :) Maybe check on the manuel of the motherboard, it's easy to swap by mistake the pin for start with restart. Maybe it's just a little mistake, or if the RAM is not well fixed or too fast for the motherboard. If the issue persist, don't hesitate to contact us by email. :)

Yes! The thermal paste is already applied to the back of the CPU and the cooler can be screwed on without hesitation and without having to apply anything extra.

of course, but if you want to overclock, I recommend the Arctic Freezer 33 TR, which looks great, is very slim and has an enormous cooling capacity. My R5 2600 runs with this cooler under full load at 4.1Ghz in Prime 95 at 60 degrees :-)
