The 9th generation iPad has to be recommended over the new 10th generation mainly because of the price. Lightning is completely sufficient; the 10th generation iPad has been optimised a little and has USB-C, but it is far too expensive. It would be more worthwhile to buy an iPad Air, because you get better hardware for the same money. The screens are not much different, and there are no disadvantages in terms of resolution. I would generally only recommend the iPad 9th generation, also because of the very good equipment and the very good price. You should generally not buy the iPad 10th generation. It is far too expensive and offers too little.

This tablet only uses Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet. If you activate the hotspot of a mobile phone, it can also connect to the Internet from there. The tablet does not have mobile data transmission or a SIM card connection.

Hello! I bought the iPad new at Digitec - and am very happy with it.
Unfortunately, I don't know if this is normal. What I can say is that my ipad gets so hot from time to time that I have to put it on its side to cool down!

No, the iPad 2021 9th Gen comes without a Pen, it is compatible with the Apple Pencil 1st Gen. No Apple iPad comes with a Pen. However, alternative pens compatible with Apple Pencil 1 e.g. available on Aliexpress can be used with these iPads 2020 9th Gen.
No, only iPads with cellular have a GPS, but an iPad with WiFi only can use WiFi to find its way around. Good choice, by the way, because I wouldn't recommend the latest 10th generation iPad to anyone, they're no good and far too expensive.

No, it does not have a compartment for a sim card. I only ever use it in WLAN mode or via my mobile phone's hot spot. It's perfectly adequate and much cheaper. I am very satisfied with it.

No, the "showroom" simply means that you can also view this product in the Digitec store on site. Of course, the product delivered is brand new and in its original packaging.
