Why do the different colours have price differences of up to 100.- even though they are the same device? And why have the prices for Spacegrey increased by over 100.- from yesterday to today?

Unfortunately no I hope for a jailbreak, so I won't update. because with Jailbreak the iPad pro becomes really interesting and allows e.g. also access to external HDD/SSD

Could the iPad Pro replace the laptop, so to speak? I have a MacBook Air that is getting on in years...... now my question is really whether it still needs a laptop or whether it would be enough with a bi i Pad?

The iPad pro runs the ipadOS operating system and not macOS, which is used for the MacBooks, so from that point of view it remains more of a mobile device. However, practically all common software applications such as Microsoft Office as well as well-functioning graphics applications are now available for ipadOS. In my opinion, for the "average home user", an iPad pro together with a suitable keyboard is definitely a good alternative to a laptop.

How long does the battery last? Does the battery power decrease noticeably over time? Can I get through a working day without recharging when using it to the full (word processing, video conferencing)? Merci.

I've only had the iPad for a good week. I have recharged it twice because I use it a lot for Skype and online shopping.it lasts a day for sure. Skype needs power for the pictures and also with us for the volume because we are several viewers.So I am fully satisfied. Look forward to it.
