As far as I understand, when you buy the iPhone 12 mini, you only get a voucher to get the Digitec Connect subscription cheaper. So I don't think you will be forced to do anything and can therefore use your existing subscription.
Slight signs of use means that the signs of use are usually not directly visible (very small scratches, for example). However, the demo item seems to be no longer available.
