Yes this is ridiculous. I pre-ordered a few minutes after pre-orders opened and it said available on Sep 22. Soon after it got bumped to October 15. And now after a bunch more delays, it already says Nov 15.
Nov 15 is the estimated date in the Apple Store if I order… today! So it means pre-ordering at Digitec is worthless.
I’m tempted to just cancel here and order directly from Apple, if it’s going to take the same amount of time.
Just hoping there is some internal error and that it’ll be available sooner, as it seems to have happened for other people.
Hello
I ordered my iphone on the 15th at the presale. My delivery date was then delayed twice. The new delivery date was then only on 19.10.23. But suddenly I received the message that my new iPhone was on its way and lo and behold: on 22 september I held it in my hands. Thank you Galaxus
I always recommend ordering from Apple because they deliver faster than Digitec. I come in every day to see if the delivery date has been adjusted and wow, 4 weeks later than usual. Cheeky ...
it depends on what you need it for, but my battery easily lasts me 1-2 days with normal use (theoretically) and with intensive use of social media at the weekend I can easily search for 6-8 hours on god!
Apparently Digitec continuously sends out devices as soon as they come in again. After several postponements, I had 14.11 as the delivery date. I finally received the iPhone on 21.10.
I had ordered on 19.09. and it said 2.12. but suddenly I got a message that the Galaxus package is on its way and I got it after 10 days, i.e. on 29.09. . I think Galaxus don't know themselves.
The best thing to do is to check the apple store online. It will show you an approximate delivery date if you were to order it there. I think you'll have to wait about the same amount of time.
Due to high demand, the product is currently on backorder. We hope that the situation will recover as soon as possible and have to ask for a little patience until then.
We work with several different suppliers, but this does not matter as all products are of the same quality and can be used without restriction. We are therefore unable to specify the exact warehouse location.

Hello - this has to do with the current sales figures. This is intended to boost sales of the 15 series, as sales of this model are stagnating. This also has to do with production and technology. If a predecessor performs better, then the company is left with the current devices/parts, and a lot of these have been produced, in contrast to the predecessor, which is to be reduced. This costs the company immense sums of money if it has to produce new supplies. As soon as a new model comes onto the market, it's all about producing spare parts for the predecessors.
Similar to the production of cars.
And, of course, the companies also know from sales behaviour that many people speculate that the predecessors should actually be cheaper. This is also a countermeasure. The new goods have to be sold, the warehouses are full and that costs money.
Mfg. B.
The device was manufactured for Europe.
Due to different suppliers and delivery conditions, there may be price differences compared to other suppliers, especially in international comparison.
I would go for the iPhone 15. Normal version!
Or if the camera isn't important to you and you want to save money, go for the iPhone SE with 128gb. It costs half as much and is comparable to the iPhone 7
The prices in our online shops fluctuate due to several factors, not just supply and demand. The main factors are the purchase price, availability, competitors' prices and our own costs. An algorithm decides on the optimum combination of availability and purchase price. Currency fluctuations and market trends also influence prices. Our costs for services such as logistics and customer service are also relevant. We pursue a transparent pricing policy without personalised prices and strive for a balance between customer satisfaction and company profit in order to be successful in the long term and to be able to continue to invest in innovation and expansion.
