Hi HattiMax, I work with a Surfacebook and a Predator, both with an ex. Monitor 3840/2160 resolution at 60 Hz switched via ATen. Switching works well. The only thing I still have to complain about is that the monitor, mouse and keyboard are not saved. Unfortunately, this is not yet possible with any provider. (It was possible with HDMI&DVI with some providers).
Hello lucasthehab Have a look here, in the instructions: https://assets.aten.com/product/manual/cs782dp-w_2017-07-20.pdf Important, the dongle for the keyboard goes in the lower USB port, the one for the mouse in the upper one. You will find the hotkeys on page 14 of the instructions. Important: I do not use "Scroll Lock", but CTRL. For example, when I change my PC, I don't press "Scroll Lock" + ENTER twice as described in the instructions, but "CTRL" + ENTER twice. In any case, a USB keyboard and mouse reset is also described here: CTRL + CTRL + F5 + ENTER (as I said, the instructions say SCROLL LOCK + SCROLL LOCK + F5 + ENTER). Does that help?
I had problems with a Lenovo keyboard. The Aten always crashed with it. I had a MacMini connected via a DP2HDMI adapter, which (if I remember correctly) worked without problems.
Yes, I have a notebook and a tower and operate both with the same mouse and keyboard. Screens are not connected to the Aten.
According to the manufacturer, the DisplayPort is version 1.2: https://www.aten.com/de/de/products/kvm/kvm-switches-f%C3%BCr-den-schreibtisch/cs782dp/
I have the same problem with multiple PCs as well as well as with multiple units of this model. The trick is to pair your mouse and keyboard while your Unifying receiver is connected directly to a PC. Afterwards you can move the receiver to the KVM an everything will work, despite Unifying receiver no longer visible in Unifying utility tool. Also Logitech options software will work afterwards (as far as I can see) as it is not depending on whether receiver is discovered only as standard HID.
This is difficult to say. Have you tried connecting it to a monitor? It could be either the unit itself, a PC or a TV. If the problem also occurs with another monitor, we would ask you to contact our customer service by e-mail with reference to this question.
