Yes, you still need to have a case with at least 7 slots behind it and that is deep enough, I would say at least 3900mm because this tool takes up about 5 cm of interior space. But it's beautiful.

The tuf gt501case has a designated output for vertical mount graka's. You can mount the CableMod module in the 7 slots at the back, so yes it would fit, but not on the case output provided by asus...

...no, it is PCI-E 3.0 not PCI-E 4.0 and has a different pin assignment on the riser cable. The NZXT H500i vert. GPU mount is rubbish, much too close to the glass panel.
