I assume that you have a small room. Apart from whether it is possible from a distance, I would think twice about this projector. 1. it's loud, 2. it's quite a piece of furniture. Both are really noticeable in a small room.
Personally, I also need it in a small room and I'm not really happy with it, partly because I can only get the image small enough by digitally shrinking it and thus losing pixel sharpness.

Not directly, but you can use something like Google Chromecast (here in the shop "Google Chromecast with Google TV HD") and simply connect it to the beamer with HDMI.
For good sound, however, you need an AV receiver and good speakers. Modern AV receivers have everything built in. Here in the shop, you can filter in the category "AV Receiver" for devices with "Chromecast built-in". But you can also consider buying a media server with all the smart TV apps (Plex, Netflix, YouTube, etc.) and connecting it via cable. Or just buy a used PS4, which can do all that (but only playback with Plex) and then you can also play games. I also have a NAS with a Plex server, but that also works with any computer.

I don't know the functionality of HDMI ARC and CEC that makes this possible very well, because I always turn it off because it annoys me when devices turn on every time I switch the AV receiver.
Nevertheless, I did some research and found some information in the manual of the beamer under the keyword 'CEC', which could possibly make this possible. The manual can easily be downloaded from the manufacturer's support pages.
The switch-on time until the first usable picture is about 30 seconds. You can then view pictures from a source, the light intensity is gradually increased at the beginning until the full luminosity is reached (normal or eco), which can take about 20 seconds, depending on the room temperature etc.

There was no HDMI cable with my order.
I have installed the beamer in the living room. However, if I want to watch something during the day, I have to darken the room as much as possible (curtains and blinds) so that you can see enough. For this reason, I would not recommend this projector for the terrace (unless you can darken).

No, it has never occurred. I've been using it in ecomode for a few months without any problems so that the fan runs quietly. The brightness hardly differs from normal mode.
I have the TW7100 for gaming and watching movies. It's good for gaming, so far I've never had the feeling that the projector is too slow.
In dark game scenes (e.g. night scenes, dark rooms) in a bright living room you see relatively little. If you can darken the room, then it's okay.
