You have to start the activities on the tracker. However, it recognises some things automatically, e.g. running, swimming, dancing/Zumba. The calorie count is more precise if the correct activity is set, otherwise the pulse is simply taken into account.

My wife had this very often with the old firmware on the watch. Attach the charging cable and then press the button on the side with your finger for a long time. The watch restarts at some point. Now the charging cable can be removed again and the watch works as usual. Be sure to update the firmware via the fitbit app.

Hello Ines. You have to choose a specific messenger (e.g. WhatsApp) and then you can view the messages on the fitbit. You can't receive it from more than one messenger (e.g. SMS and WhatsApp), you have to choose. Emojis are not necessarily displayed in the same way as in WhatsApp, and pictures are not displayed anyway. What's more, you can select predefined answers (e.g. yes, no, call back later, etc.) and answer accordingly. But everything is kept very simple, it's not a real smartwatch, but rather a simple sports watch.
