Questions about Genki ShadowCast Capture Card

I have the following problem I already have a capture card only that with the connection does not work on my laptop because I play on the TV and not on the laptop which is more for other things because more than stream function I need now because 2 of them connect to my PS5 and on the laptop somehow I have to transfer the game to OBS or is only one of them enough!

This capture card is more intended for gaming consoles on the PC + recording or streaming. There are capture cards from Elgato that have an input + output... e.g. Elgato HD60X ...with which you could record on the notebook and still play on the TV.

Does this product also work when you want to transfer a picture from your mobile phone to your PC? Thank you for the answer.

The product is recognised as a webcam on the notebook. Instead of a CCD chip, as with a camera, the video signal is tapped directly at the HDMI port. Unfortunately, the information provided by the manufacturer is extremely sparse: https://www.genkithings.com/products... It is not clear whether only 1080P and 4K are supported, or whether any resolutions are processed. Presumably the latter if you use your own camera software. The app probably only supports 1080p and 4K. So much for how it works. So if you can somehow connect an HDMI-OUT adapter on your smartphone and together with this coupler, it might work. Here's what the brand says: "Shadowcast allows you to play multiple of your favorite game consoles on a laptop or any computer." I guess it should work. :)
