You need a headset with a jack plug for the microphone and another for the headphones, as the motherboard has several audio connections that are separate for the microphone and headphones. A headset with a single jack connector that combines both microphone and headphones will not work optimally as the motherboard has separate connectors for microphone and headphones.

If you take something that fits into the RAM specs without being any OC rams, they should work without any problems.

No, unfortunately the board does not have Wi-Fi. However, there is another version of the Aorus Elite that has Wi-Fi (Aorus Elite AX).

I had to update the BIOS from version 10 to 15 with QFlash and a USB stick for a 5800X3D. Download BIOS Updates: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboar... IMPORTANT: Pay attention to your revision of the board. The link above is to Rev. 1.0/1.1.

Don't worry, the 1x DisplayPort refers to the external connection, i.e. where you connect your monitor to the PC. Your RTX 3060 is only connected to the mainboard via the PCIe connector and then just power via 8 or 6-pin. Again, the 2x DisplayPorts from the graphics card are also external connections. And remember; once you have installed the graphics card, please do not use the DisplayPort connector on the mainboard!

In my case, BIOS F10 was installed and this supports this CPU. It is also possible to change the BIOS without the CPU: "Q-Flash Plus Update BIOS without Installing the CPU, Memory and Graphics Card".

I chose this motherboard because it was recommended by the German computer magazine c't in this year's Bauvorschalg (economical, powerful). In my opinion, the board makes sense together with a RyZEN 5000, as it supports PCIExpress 4.0. The manufacturer promises 5000 support, but a BIOS update may be necessary, which should also work without a CPU. ATTENTION: The network connection only works under Linux from kernel 5.9 (i.e. you may need a USB network adapter or something to bring the kernel to version 5.9 under Linux. I played through it, it works without problems).

The ct build suggestion (https://www.heise.de/select...) is certainly a very good combination. There, a "Ryzen 5 3600, boxed" and a "Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 550 4G G5 (11268-01-20G)" are recommended.

Both mobos are good, but if you want to benefit from PCie 4.0, which means mainly memory devices and maybe nVidia's Ampere cards in the future, you have to take the newer one. With the new mobo, you also have the advantage that you can upgrade the new Zen 3 processors, which will be released in September, without much effort. The VRMs on the b450 are also only just enough for the r5 3600, you should be able to OC it, but you won't be able to expect a heavy OC with another CPU, as the board only delivers around 75A safely, at 100-125A you'll need quite a bit of airflow.
