I don't know if it works for Huawei but it works fine for my Xiaomi. You just need to use the Supercharger plug.

Yes. I see no reason why this should not be possible. I use this cable on many different devices for data transfer AND often just as a charging cable.

I would recommend the charger incl. cable from the Huawei P10. (You can find it on the phone under accessories). Huawei charges with 5A, Samsung only with 2A.
