The monitor is suitable for gaming, especially thanks to its 144 Hz refresh rate and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible. These functions offer a smooth and stutter-free display, which is advantageous for games such as flight simulators. However, the Display resolution of 5120 x 1440 could lead to black bars in some games that are not optimised for the 32:9 format. Nevertheless, the monitor offers an impressive width and can increase immersion in games.

Unfortunately, it seems to be hard to find something compatible for 5120 x 1440 @ 144 Hz among KVMs. However, I found this forum where users have found various workarounds: https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawidemasterrace/comments/qqbhi7/kvm_switch_5120x1440/

This should mainly be different market versions. Here are more detailed specifications for the 49WQ95C-W item: https://www.lg.com/hk_en/monitor/lg-49wq95c-w. And here for the 49WQ95X-W model: https://www.lg.com/de/monitore/lg-49wq95x-w. The 49WQ95C-W version does not seem to be available for Germany/EU, which is probably why you did not find the model.
