I also just tore it off, as in the video, and it worked. It's best to open the holder completely, hold the cam with one hand on both sides and tilt the holder downwards with the other hand. The first time it holds relatively tightly, then it's easier.

As far as I know, there is, for example, an annual licence for Xsplit and others that are interesting for streamers. From my point of view, the cam hardware is technically 1:1 the same. :)

Yes, you can connect the camera to a docking station without a USB-C port using a USB-C to USB-A adapter. My monitor doesn't go down vertically either, it's curved and goes slightly backwards right in the centre, but the mount is very flexible and can be adjusted very well, so it should fit just about any monitor.
