The Logitech Circle View camera you mentioned is already HomeKit-enabled and does not require a special version to work with HomeKit Secure Video. It is specifically designed for use with Apple HomeKit and offers functions such as motion detection and night vision. Therefore, you can use this camera directly with HomeKit Secure Video as long as you fulfil the necessary requirements such as an iCloud plan and a Home Hub device.

Hello, I have 6 cameras in use via Apple Homekit, and I've personally only had 2 or 3 disconnections when I'm away from home, but the camera that has been affected comes back up fairly quickly. Otherwise I haven't had any problems.

I was actually always able to access it. But I can tell you from my experience that the person recognition is not really useful or reliable. The motion detection itself, on the other hand, works tiptop. The image quality is also rather poor. So if you want to recognise something in the picture, you should choose a camera with a higher resolution.

No, that's not how it works. The camera itself is a motion detector and then records accordingly when motion is detected. As far as I know, this has to be set up with HomeKit. I don't know any other way.

This should work, as only the power supply unit is connected to the cable. The connection to Apple HomeKit is established via WLAN anyway. However, an Apple TV of the latest generation or an iPod mini of the latest generation is essential for this.

So either I missed something, the camera has never exceeded the level of Windows 95 I imagined it too easy. The times when you had to constantly justify the Mac are also over and what you wrote to me is just Apple's printing press, I'll probably buy such a stupid device if you can use AppleTV and Skype and everything without a box with a SmartCard. That really sounds pretty over, but thanks so much for the explanation. I've now bought the Arlo, it's cheaper and was installed in 15 minutes.

The camera is used in Thailand and an Apple TV device is used for transmission. However, the transmission is not stable. One week the connection works perfectly, then I have no connection for days. Why? In parallel, the Circle 2 cameras work perfectly.

No, this does not work. The camera is integrated directly into your Smarthome environment via the Home Kit. Manual entry of the W-LAN setting (in your case hotspot) does not work. In general, an iPad will not maintain a permanent connection to a webcam in hotspot mode anyway.
