Question about Logitech Circle View

I ordered the camera yesterday and wanted to set it up today but: I have been working with Apple since 1992 but I have never experienced such a tango! I have a WLAN that supports 2.4 and 5 GHz and the camera is also on the network, but it doesn't show up in the Home. When I try to install it in Home it says it's already installed and when I go through a Logitech app I get a message that the camera needs to be set up in Home first which is great o So if you have any ideas I'd be happy otherwise I'll have to send it back.

Helpful answer

So either I missed something, the camera has never exceeded the level of Windows 95 I imagined it too easy. The times when you had to constantly justify the Mac are also over and what you wrote to me is just Apple's printing press, I'll probably buy such a stupid device if you can use AppleTV and Skype and everything without a box with a SmartCard.

That really sounds pretty over, but thanks so much for the explanation. I've now bought the Arlo, it's cheaper and was installed in 15 minutes.

Try removing the device from Home first and resetting it. https://www.youtube.com/watch

HomeKit secure video requires a home hub (HomePod, Apple TV with TVOS 13.2 or later, iPad with iPadOS 13.2 or later) for the following functions: remote live broadcast and notifications, recording history, automations, smart detection.
A compatible iCloud plan is required to store the history: 200GB plan for one camera; 2TB plan for up to five cameras (plans are subject to change).
