The sound of this headset is, as usual from Logitech, averagely good. The rather rectangular shape of the ear cups makes this headset ideal for large ears as well as large heads. I have both and am very satisfied with this headset. Even after long gaming sessions, it doesn't pinch my head or ears.

Have you ever tried uninstalling Fortnite? No, seriously, do you have Logitech driver software installed? Did you keep an eye on your tasks when you had the audio interruptions? Is the headset still running during the interruptions (i.e. are the LEDs on)? -> if not, try another USB port Speaking of USB port, is the headset connected directly to the PC or via USB hub? These are all things you could try to fix. I've had the headset for about a year now, use it several times a week and rarely if ever had any problems with it....
