No M.2 plug will fit there. Because Apple is cooking its own soup here too... Although the connector looks similar to an M.2, it is not compatible and apparently does not have its own designation. In my opinion, the description of this SSD is wrong. M.2 is quite clearly defined and Apple does not follow this definition. Thunderbolt 3. It has the same connector as USB 3 but is faster, and you need it to reach maximum read speeds of around 26 Gbps.

"Aura Pro X2 SSDs can only be installed in 21.5-inch iMac models equipped with a factory-installed SSD or Fusion drive" (quote Applestore from Lucerne). ... and according to my experience: Mac devices in which ONLY an HDD is installed have no ports for an additional SSD ex works. A suitable adapter and/or cable plus mounting must be purchased separately. Or you can buy the right conversion kit.
As far as I know, you need an S-ATA M.2 for the MB Air Late 2010, so this one does not work.
