BS! Everything that has to do with colours and shapes is great. But the handling for Mac users is a disaster. If I had known that...
No! The edges/margins are each 7mm wide and 10mm at the bottom edge. Unfortunately, you can't see this in the pictures and it doesn't correspond to reality. I employ this screen on a daily basis and I find the edges/borders visually pleasing. Not too thin, not too thick. The picture quality in terms of gaming and the colour spectrum for professional image editing is unparalleled on the market. The handling, however, is absolutely unworthy of a premium Philips brand screen. What may not seem so important to one person can be an absolute deal-breaker for another. I therefore recommend that, if possible, you look at the screen somewhere or even test it. If not, you can find test videos on YouTube where the edges/borders are also clearly visible.
1) It comes with a 2-year warranty. The monitor has several clever functionalities to avoid burn-ins (I did not notice them, but they also can be turned off). 2) No. The only "smart" function that I noticed is the automatic dimming which cannot be turned off. It is not a problem for games, but I did not like it when working with Outlook & co (except if you'd go for strict darkmode...): on the one hand, really outstandingly great, sharp, colorful, fast picture; but on the other hand not so bright when the screen is white...
Unfortunately, the manufacturer only states "audio output" on its own website. According to research, this should be a 3.5 mm connection.
