The belt (without sensor) must not be washed in the washing machine. It should be rinsed under running water after each use and hung up to dry. If necessary, the belt can be carefully cleaned by hand with mild soap, but should not be machine-washed, ironed, dry-cleaned or bleached. Never tumble dry the belt.

The heart rate monitor is not explicitly listed for the Apple Watch Series 7, but it is compatible with various Apple Watch models. You can connect it to your Apple Watch via Bluetooth Low Energy as long as you wear it correctly and set up the connection.

I can't tell you because I don't have a Suunto. But with my Fenix 6, the Tunturi home trainer, the fitness equipment in the gym and the Bosch computer on my e-bike, it works perfectly. Is recognised immediately everywhere

Hoi - most of these heart rate monitors do exactly one thing: record the heart rate and transmit it directly via ANT+ or BT LE to a connected device - which then displays it. So, unfortunately, no, these belts cannot determine the training distance covered via GPS; for this you need at least a corresponding fitness watch or a smartphone. The fitness watch can also record the heart rate... (cough :) ).
