Any 12V DC power supply with min. 1A power and low voltage plug (5.5 x 2.5 mm, centre positive) will work. According to the description, the following power supply should work: Varia JPS PSU 12V, 2A, 2.5MM - JPS plug-in power supply - 12 V / 2.0 A, 2.5 mm
This can probably also be operated without WLAN/LAN. The configuration must of course be carried out with a connection, and then the events are saved on the SD card. Of course, this must then be manually removed and read out. Alternatively, I see a Reolink with battery and solar panel for this purpose. (but I do not know it)
Mine came with an extension cable. Approx. 3m
Not to my knowledge, it only allows an FTP connection. I upload the pictures to a directory in the Synology.
Hello It doesn't matter whether the camera is connected to the network via WLAN or LAN. I also operate two of these cameras with Synology Surveillance. Works without any problems.
- The cable from the power supply unit is approx. 1.5m long. - a standard power supply is usually never IP65, as the corresponding socket is not waterproof when "in use". - Motion detection is via video image, not via infrared (PIR), this can be configured extensively and needs a few days and nights of testing until the optimal setting for the situation/environment is found. Use the camera from time to time, but then with a special power supply unit in an IP65 junction box, whereby the entire installation is then weatherproof...
