There are 3 conditions for "supercharging" to work.
1 Smartphone that is compatible and set up for.
2 The right cable for your smartphone.
3 Suitable power supply for your smartphone.
If 1 of the 3 is not taken into account, it will not work.
I myself had the same type of problem and my cable was theoretically compatible but apparently it was either faulty or not compatible with my smartphone because I just took another cable and then it worked.
In your case, if you have the option, it's to change your power supply and/or the cable to see if it would work...

The difference between the EU and CH device is that certain features may not work, such as Wifi Calling, VoLTE, Samsung Pay, NFC and updates will be delivered later.
VoLTE, Samsung Pay and Wi-Fi calls do not work in some cases with the EU version.

The problem is the manufacturers, Samsung is usually still among the better ones, i.e. there are many updates. But: the phone is already very old, I wouldn't recommend it, because with an old phone, despite the goodwill of the manufacturers, updates simply end sooner. It came onto the market in September 2020
I would recommend the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G, Xiaomi also offers a 3-year operating system and 4-year security updates warranty from Xiaomi for the phone. The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE was launched in the third quarter of 2021, had Android 11 then and is now getting Android 12, then Android 13 and 14. It offers more in many areas, double the memory, 64Mpx camera and 256GB storage. It also has dual 5G support and the RAM can be expanded from 8 to 11 GB.

I don't know if it's bulletproof glass, but the cover fits me perfectly.
It's got an Exynos processor, the phone came out in 2020, I wouldn't recommend buying it. It's old and doesn't have 5G. For less money, there is a much more up-to-date phone from Xiaomi: the 11 Lite 5G NE. It came out in 2022 and has a modern Snapdragon processor.

Some features may be limited or not available on an EU model in Switzerland, such as VoLTE, WiFi-Calling, Samsung Pay and other services. In addition, EU models in Switzerland are not eligible for cashback or other promotions.
This version here has the Snapdragon processor, so it is the "new edition". The "normal" version has the somewhat slower Exynos processor.

I'm pretty confident in my answer, since I've purchased this before and researched it thoroughly.
The 5g version is with the Snapdragon 865 chipset and is slightly faster in some tasks (like video conversion, gaming, etc) and supports 5g of course.
The 4g version is using the Exynos 990 chipset, supporting only 4g. (@digitec there's probably a type in the specs)
Otherwise the phones are identical in screen/camera/battery/etc
For the small price difference I'd still get the 5g version.

It has a slightly older Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 inside. And this variant is only capable of 4G. A better choice would be the Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, which costs only 289 francs and has a similarly fast Snapdragon 860 with 8GB RAM (Samsung only 6GB) and with 256GB twice as much memory as a Samsung S20 FE (128GB). The battery of the X3 Pro is 5120 mAh, which is considerably larger than that of the Samsung.

It is the Swiss version and not the EU version. This is also evident in the manufacturer's number, which ends in EUC. EUC stands for sale in Switzerland
Not sure what you mean "543", but the S20 FE includes a charger (15W) and a USB (A/C) cable. Headphones are not included.

No, according to my research, the Fan Edition unfortunately does not have eSIM functionality.
