Have you just had the update to Android 11 installed? It just came out and was installed on my device on Monday. After that, the device crashed after a short time every time I restarted it. And it did so while the "Finishing Updates" notification was still displayed. What helped me: Reboot once without SIM(s) and without external MicroSD (if you have one inside). On the next start, the "Finishing Update" ran through and then I could switch off again, insert SIMs and card and on the next start everything ran as before! Even if they didn't have an update or the notification: a restart without SIMs and MicroSD might be worth a try.

I still have the Swiss Map app on my device and often need it to record tracks. I've been on the road for several hours with the app switched on and haven't had any battery problems. To be on the safe side, you can take a spare battery with you for this phone. Greetings, Alberto

- You're not the first to get updates, but they come quite quickly. - I think One UI2 is good. You can customise it enough and there are even ready-made "themes" on the Galaxy Store (if you like one *cough"). If you really want to overdo it, you can download the Nova Launcher from the Google Store. You can really configure everything there. Regarding bloatware: Yes, it exists and you can't uninstall it, only deactivate it. It's just the standard stories like Facebook and a few Google apps.
