Unfortunately, I cannot answer this question exactly. I can only say that all the CDs or DVDs I have inserted for playback have worked. I have not paid attention to which region the respective CD or DVD belonged to. So far, everything has worked without any problems.

DVDs can only be played on the device via direct playback from the disc drive, not streamed via Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is mainly used for streaming online content and for using network functions such as DLNA, but not for wireless playback of physical DVDs.
