Knocking on the wall can make it clear. If it sounds hollow it is a plaster wall, if not then it is concrete or brick I would generally recommend simply drilling a hole (10 mm drill) so that you can tell according to the instructions 8 screws are recommended, but 6 are also sufficient (10 mm plugs and 8 mm screws).
Hello LuiseH812 Unfortunately I can't say whether the BTI 6080 will fit, but I still have a few parts from the bracket. In this case, do you need the two struts that are mounted on the TV? greetings
It always depends on what background/wall you have. Brick wall, concrete, Gibs, wood etc. Depending on this, you have to use different dowels with different lengths. They can advise you at Bauhaus, Hornbach or a specialist shop.

The bracket is good, but it has to be mounted very straight. There is no way to adjust it, except to take the TV down again, loosen the screws and move it up and down a bit. Otherwise, it is a very simple mount to install.
Of course, it works with all TVs.
I would recommend 6x55 (or equivalent) screws with the corresponding long 8 mm plugs.
