However, I don't know myself right now if it is considered third party software. True, you have to download it from their official site and not from the App Store or Google Play Store, but with my MacBooks I wasn't asked to trust those downloads. They were installed straight away as Apple seem to trust them without any problems. (Otherwise I am also always asked if I want to open the drivers and files from the internet...) So I would just try downloading the driver from the shop and see if it works or not. You don't need to own a Wacom device or product to get the driver.
