Yes, at the end of each stand is a 5/8 Inch Spigot with 1/4 Inch Thread. Attached a better picture of the whole stand: https://walimex.nuna.ch/images/product_images/popup_images/97_1.jpg And a close up of what the 5/8 Inch Spigot with 1/4 Inch Thread looks like (Sample pic, upper part) http://www.wexphotographic.com/webcontent/product_images/large/28/1005104.jpg
As far as I know, not at digitec, but the "Jinbei BS300 telescopic background rod" is also sold in Switzerland. However, the fabric and the pole will cost you considerably more than the whole set here.
Everything included, as in the picture, also the tripods. They are probably the ones marked WT-806 (256 cm).
It says on the linked manufacturer's page: https://walimex.ch/product_info.php?products_id=97&language=de
Yes, you can do that, no problem. Even when extended to this length, the frame is still sufficiently stable. It is certainly sufficient for hobby use. I also use the 2.72 x 11m paper roll. To fix the paper better to the pole and to prevent it from unrolling, I got some clamps. You can get them cheaply at a DIY store.
Halo. 1.2-3m is width. Height is 256cm (picture 5).
Use it with paper as well as heavier fabric without any problems, so it should also be suitable for vinyl.
Hello Andrea, there should be a hexagonal spanner in the set. It is a "plastic part" that can be clamped directly onto the tripod rod. Use this spanner to tighten the lock ;-)
I have also used background paper. The problem is... you have to fix it so that it doesn't roll on. It works... even if it's a bit awkward.
The legs protrude 55cm from the middle of the telescopic rod. The diameter over the three legs is therefore approx. 1.10m.
width ~1.1m min ~3.1m max / height ~1.2 min ~2.5 max. Be careful, the wider it is, the less stable it is!
