No further/additional mainboard features are required apart from the PCIe 3.0 version you have already mentioned. However, only 1 PCIe slot with 16 physical lanes is available on the mainboard you mentioned. In order to use the specified speed/bandwidth of the WD Black AN1500 adapter, you must place it on this slot, otherwise (choice of a PCIe slot with PCIe3.0x4 lanes) only half the speed is available. Hi, Unfortunately, the motherboard Gigabyte MZ31-AR0 AMD Epyc 7000 series SoC (SP3, E-ATX) is not listed as compatible by the manufacturer. https://documents.westerndigital.com/content/dam/doc-library/en_us/assets/public/western-digital/product/internal-drives/wd-black-ssd/compatibility-list-wd-black-an1500.pdf Therefore, we cannot guarantee that it would work. Kind regards
After a review, we have adjusted the warranty period to 5 years.
Hi, no you don't. The WD Black AN1500 has a built in RAID controller that will join both SSDs together and display them as one SSD. WD has a compatibility list on their website https://documents.westerndigital.com/content/dam/doc-library/en_us/assets/public/western-digital/product/internal-drives/wd-black-ssd/compatibility-list-wd-black-an1500.pdf Hope this helps Greetings KingRaven90
