  Good product, decent temperatures for i7

  This will be silent, but you must make sure you configure it to run gradually in the bios, as the temperature goes up and under 100% speed: else, you will hear it.
  Cools my i7 skylake cores on idle, on avg. around [27°, 30°[, usually does not increase above 50° under heavy loads. Would probably adventure myself on a bigger dual fan unit with the knowledge I have now. But this is pretty fair and recommended. more

  I wanted a Noctua cooler for a long time, and always had the Intel Boxed cooler. I should have bought this one years earlier...

  I upgraded my computer, the Noctua package was the one with the most accessories.

  Pro

  • Very quiet and powerful (Intel i5 6400 at idle below 30°C)
  • Screwdriver included for installation, thermal paste also included
  • Installation very easy
  • Not as heavy as other coolers, does not need to be removed for transport.

  Contra

  • Needs counter plate behind mainboard, i.e. the mainboard may have to be removed.
