    This thing is awesome. It is relatively expensive. I have tried many network players and have     not been satisfied with any. Onkyo offers a USB stick firmware upgrade for this player. The player then plays all HD formats. Bit 24 bit / 192 kHz. I play HD music but also normal FLAC ripped CDs from a Synology DS 1512+ NAS. The quality is excellent.

    There are 2 apps for iOS and Android. They work really well. Layout is modern.

    The radio is spiced up with the sound optimizer function. The function can be switched off, but sounds much better than DAB+, for example.

    I have a high-end system and have made it network-compatible with this part. Sure, there are more expensive ones than the Onkyo, but it's an intermediate step between sinfully expensive and normal. Conclusion for me: the player is worth the price.
