Polaroid Hi-Print 2x3 Pocket
Polaroid Hi-Print 2x3 Pocket
I never managed to finished a cartridge of paper. With the first cartridge the printer claimed to have run out of paper after 8 of the 10 sheets, second cartridge lasted 5 sheets. Now it is simply stuck and with a new cartridge it still claims there is no paper when I try to print.

Don't buy!
For over 8 years I had been using a zink printer, the Snap.
After printing hundreds of photos, with average quality but good service, I bought this hi-print printer and cartridges. I'm going to throw them all away.
Not only is the quality disgraceful, it saturates the colours to excess and clogs up the blacks with far too much contrast.
But ESPECIALLY! Above all, it's ecological and economic nonsense. Whereas the ZINK allows you to buy packs of 30 or 50 sheets at a reasonable price, and with only thin plastic packaging, Hi-Print cartridges contain 10 sheets in a large DISPOSABLE plastic cartridge! The waste is substantial, for what it is. If at least one cartridge could print 200 or even 100 photos before being thrown away, that might be defensible. But 10 photos for so much single-use plastic is unacceptable. If they at least recovered the cartridges for reuse...
What's more, the price of the cartridges is high, so it's not worth buying this camera. Competitors offer much more affordable, high-quality and/or environmentally-friendly products.
I'm really disappointed with Polaroid.

After 3 years, the printer no longer pulls any paper out of the cartridge after 5 photos and wants to tell me it no longer contains any paper!
It's also noticeable that it ALWAYS suddenly stops working after 5 photos... and even when we took a cartridge apart and refilled the paper so that there were 10 in it again, it didn't work. Very disappointing and I feel cheated that I can now only print half the photos from the remaining cartridges, even though they are quite expensive!
