The M5, made in Australia, is a compact 1/2” condenser microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern. It is extremely low in noise and offers a wide frequency response. Drawing on the experience with the NT5 microphone, RØDE presents a high-quality stick condenser microphone with a fixed directional characteristic that is sure to satisfy even the most demanding artists and sound engineers. The M5 excels both live and in the studio for acoustic instruments, choir recordings, and in all situations where a small diaphragm condenser microphone is typically used, whether in mono or stereo.
