The Rode SM3-R is a microphone mount that can accommodate various Rode microphones. The dual Rycote holder ensures perfect decoupling of the microphone, preventing any unwanted noises such as footfall or handling noise from being transmitted to the microphone. Another innovation is the slots at the end of the SM3-R for clamping the connection cable, as well as the cutout for the PG2-R Pro Cable (available separately). Unlike its predecessor, the SM3, this model does not require any rubber rings that can tear or get lost. The flexible yet shape-stable material used to make the SM3-R ensures a very long lifespan.
