The built-in direct drive in the RP-2000 USB MK2 is particularly fail-safe and features low wow and flutter. Unlike a belt-driven turntable, the RP-2000 USB MK2 transmits motor power directly to the drive hub, resulting in higher torque and faster power on the precision-crafted die-cast platter. The pitch section, with a range of +/-8%, is also suitable for fine tempo adjustments.

The RP-2000 USB MK2 is equipped with a statically balanced, S-shaped tonearm with hydraulic lift and anti-skating mechanism. A wide variety of cartridge systems can be connected via the universal SME connection. The turntable offers a high-resolution USB port for direct and easy digitization of your vinyl records. Simply connect your computer to the USB port, start the recording software, and the recording can begin. No driver installation is necessary.

The integrated phono preamp allows signal output via phono or line, eliminating the need for grounding. The improved stop provides clear tactile feedback. With the push of a button, the aluminum needle light can be extended, making the needle position easily visible even in the dark. The robust construction with optimized damping properties reduces vibrations, while shock-absorbing feet on the underside of the turntable contribute to further isolation.
